Molly’s At The Market is proud to announce the return of Jim Monaghan’s St. Patrick’s Parade on Friday, March 14, 2014. Rolling through the streets of the French Quarter on the Friday before St. Patrick’s Day every year since 1982, this year’s parade will be led by Roots of Music donor Todd Biever. Featuring formally dressed riders in horse-drawn carriages and Irish throws, this annual parade will be accompanied by such local marching organizations as The Storyville Stompers, The New Wave Brass Band, The Kazooie Floozies, The Bearded Oysters, The Muffalottas, and more!
Gathering at Molly’s At The Market (1107 Decatur Street) at 6:00pm and departing at 6:30, the parade will proceed through the French Quarter to The Erin Rose (811 Conti Street) via Decatur, Bienville and Burgundy Street. The parade will pause for thirty minutes at The Erin Rose to refill drinks. From there it’s a straight shot through the heart of the French Quarter’s world-famous Bourbon Street and back to home base at Molly’s.
